We are halfway through 2026 and it has certainly been an eventful year within the lettings industry.
With some of the biggest changes in thirty years, increasing rents, and ever-changing legislation, landlords have found themselves with more responsibility than ever before when it comes to managing their properties correctly.
At Abacus, we have dedicated significant time to understanding the new requirements, reviewing documentation processes and ensuring our entire team is confident in supporting our landlords through the changes brought about by the Renters' Rights Act. Alongside the everyday demands of a busy lettings office, we have also prioritised keeping our landlords informed and ensuring their properties remain compliant.
As a result, we have seen an increasing number of private landlords choosing to transfer the management of their properties to us – giving them the reassurance that their tenancy is being professionally managed and that important deadlines and requirements are being taken care of.
